This day was the final meeting and closing liturgy heal at the All Souls Parish, Coventry, to mark the Archbishop's visitation of the Coventry Deanery.
The event started with the Archbishops procession into the Church. Thereafter, the Coventry Coventry Choral Group was inivited to open the meeting, to which they beautifully gave a rendition of "Lord come to my help". No other song would have been more suited for this event than this solemn song, asking God to come to our help and to give us his assistance.
The song was chosen to remind the clergy and parishioners of the Coventry Deanery that it is only through the help of God that they can implement whatever recommendations that may have been made in the course of the visits to the various parishes by His Grace, Vincent Nichols, the Archbishop of Birmingham.
